What do users actually trade on a prediction market?

Users trade binary outcome shares: "Yes" and "No" contracts that always sum to $1. If a user buys a "Yes" share at $0.65, they believe there is a 65% chance the event happens; a correct prediction pays out $1. Users can exit positions early by selling at the current market price, creating a dynamic secondary market. The platform also supports multi-outcome markets (e.g., "Who will win the election?") and scalar markets with variable payouts. For operators, every trade generates revenue through configurable maker and taker fee models.
