For reaching out to customers and gaining visibility among the target audiences, a regularly updated blog might be the best bet. This informal medium of communication sets things straight between the end users and the company and often creates an environment of trust and mutual understanding between them.

We decided to go ahead with a custom written blog tool to give the PMTI Company an excellent platform for interacting with their potential customers and at the same time offering them complete control over the overall structure. The Web 2.0 Design team at Vinfotech immediately got into action and created a blog template quite similar to PMTI’s corporate website. Our web programming team programmed the entire website to perfection using standard blog techniques like tagging, URL rewriting, archiving etc. It took our team of one designer and 2 developers almost 2 months to write the entire application in ASP.NET 2.0 with MS-SQL 2005 as the database. A very powerful admin interface was also designed which would tell them where the visitors were coming from, who is posting comments and making very easy to post new blogs or update existing ones.

The 4PMTI Blog was a complete solution for the interactive platform that 4PMTI required and at the same time, it showcased our web 2.0 and blog development expertise in positive light.
