Web 2.0 Development Success Story : Zolve.com
Real Estate Referral Network
Description
Brian Wilson, a real estate agent by profession, was serving the US army in Iraq when the idea of creating Zolve struck him. In order to be updated with the real estate market in the US, Brian spent a lot of time reading blogs related to real estate and that is when he thought of creating Zolve which would be a Social Network for Real Estate Agents all across the globe.
This was an ambitious venture and Brian started creating specs of the project in details and spent most of his idle time in Baghdad working on his passion. Now another difficult task was to find the right partner to develop this for him. Brian had worked almost 6 months on the ideas, did a lot of research and wanted to ensure that only the right web development company was appointed for the job as he did not want some Web Development Company just to mess with it.
Brian used Search Engines to find relevant potential partners and started contacting Web Design companies, asking for their inputs and getting to know about their services. During the process, Brian spoke to Akshay Jain, CEO of Viscus Infotech Ltd. They had regular discussions over emails and Yahoo Messenger and Brian was surprised and extremely happy that Akshay and his team were not just able to understand his vision, but gave some excellent ideas also towards the project.
After a few weeks, Brian decided that Vinfotech was the web development company he wanted to go ahead with and a formal contract was signed. This is how Zolve got started.

Founder, Zolve.com
Zolve was supposed to be a project for real estate agents all across the world (initially targeted at the US) where agents can create their own mini websites inside the Zolve network, add each other to their Sphere of Influence, Blog about the latest real-estate happening, Refer their peers with some business and even provide an eBay style feedback and rating system to see how the other agents are performing..
Vinfotech realized that Zolve was aiming to be the biggest and the best Social Networking Website targeting Real Estate Professionals and we had a huge task ahead of us. The team at Vinfotech planned the entire website thoroughly from the choice of colors, the overall User Interface Design, the web pages naming conventions and the proper ASP.NET coding standards. Zolve.com was developed as a highly dynamic and Web 2.0 feature-rich website for real estate professionals to showcase themselves and use this as a platform to send online referrals. The website has been built in Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0, uses Microsoft’s AJAX framework for an enhanced user experience and completely designed using table-less CSS programming.
The entire website was built on Agile model and new modules are being released every few days. Initially the project was supposed to be launched with a monthly subscription model but with the dynamics of Internet Changing fast, Brian decided to make the site free of subscription. The web development team at Vinfotech was extremely proactive and ensured that all this happened quickly and without a problem.
The end result is for everyone to see at www.zolve.com. The site is growing extremely fast and within 2 months of its launch the website already has more than 4,500 registered Professionals. The number is very good considering it is a niche Social Network targeted only at Real Estate Professionals.
Designed for ease of use and high performance, the Website is out to help Real Estate Professionals build a great community, enhance community knowledge and in turn help them grow the business.
A lot of new modules are in progress and we aim to bring you the best and most user friendly Real Estate Social Networking Website.
